Sleepy the poet: Restless Questions

The Wor(l)d is a series of short videos featuring spoken-word artists from around the world. Each week, RNW provides a space for young poets and rappers to share their take on our themes. In this series, our contributors take as their starting point the theme: free speech.

Wesley van Barlingen AKA Sleepy the poet is a Dutch artist with an acute eye for local and international politics. His style is clear and direct and the theme of free speech is one he responds to strongly.
