Major automobile manufacturers such as Renault in France, Nissan in Japan and especially Build Your Dream (BYD) in China say the electric car is now ready for the mass market. But is that true?
Car2Go is a project for electric rental cars in Amsterdam. Their experience shows that to be successful you have to put a lot effort into getting round the limitations of electric vehicles.
