Two months ago, police officers in Mexico City arrested a young man for being "a whore". The two officers tried to force Jonathan to perform oral sex on them. They then handcuffed him and locked him in a cell where he was beaten for several hours.

Incensed by this official homophobia and flagrant abuse of power, Jonathan has launched a campaign on change.org, calling on the Mexican government to provide training for police officers and civil servants about tolerance and sexual diversity.
