More liquid cocaine being smuggled into the Netherlands

Two years ago cocaine in fluid form was unheard of in the Netherlands, but now Dutch customs officials say there’s been a significant increase in the amount of liquid cocaine they’re intercepting.

Cocaine conjures up an image of white powder in most people’s minds, but the drug can also be dissolved in certain liquids and then placed in an inconspicuous soft drink bottle. And a number of unsuspecting Dutch students have been tricked into bringing thousands of euros of drugs into the country.
