RNW archive

This article is part of the RNW archive. RNW is the former Radio Netherlands Worldwide or Wereldomroep, which was founded as the Dutch international public broadcaster in 1947. In 2011, the Dutch government decided to cut funding and shift RNW from the ministry of Education, Culture and Science to the ministry of Foreign Affairs. More information about RNW Media’s current activities can be found at https://www.rnw.org/about-rnw-media.

Voting has ended and we now present the results of the vote-off to choose the two songs to represent India.

In this year's World Pop Contest each country may be represented by one or two songs. For some countries we have had more than two nominations, so in April 2011 we asked you to help us choose the best songs for those countries.

This page presents the five songs nominated to represent India - and the two winners.

The results are presented below:

You have 10 points TOTAL to award. You may divide the 10 points as you like between songs J K L M N (videos below).

You may want to give each song different points (examples: 1-2-1-2-4 or 2-2-2-2-2 or 3-1-4-1-1, etc.)

You may want give points to only two, only three or only four of the songs (examples: 5-0-5-0-0 or 0-5-0-2-3, or 2-3-0-3-2, etc.)

You may want to give ALL your points to just one song (0-0-10-0-0 for example).

How you divide the points is up to you, but you must award a total of 10. If you do not, your votes will not count.
