Our sexual and reproductive health and rights programme, Love Matters, has participated at the International Conference on Family Planning in Kigali, Rwanda, 12-15 November. We put pleasure back into discussions on family planning and sex at a number of sessions. This conference is particularly meaningful to us because it marked the launch of our new Love Matters Rwanda national digital platform.

Our Love Matters Africa team spoke on gender-related empowerment, and our Love Matters Arabic team presented their toolkit on reaching young people with SRHR information. Our Love Matters India team presented on how technology can be used to champion a pleasure-based approach to SRHR, and we came together for the special panel, “the Pleasure Dividend”. This all happened on 14 November.
