Jacqueline Lampe new RNW Media Programme Director

Hilversum, 12 November 2015 – RNW Media’s Supervisory Board has appointed Jacqueline Lampe (53) as Programme Director. Lampe will have final responsibility for the editorial course of RNW Media which is dedicated to promoting social change through innovative use of media. She will lead the organisation together with General Director Robert Zaal. The new Programme Director will assume office on 1 January 2016.

Lampe previously served as CEO with Amref Flying Doctors in the Netherlands,  developing  and expanding  the organisation over a ten-year period. She was a member of  the global Senior Management Team of Amref Health Africa and a number of international strategies were developed under her leadership.

Earlier in her career, Lampe worked with publishing company VNU, both as a marketer and publisher. From 2000 until 2004, she served as Managing Director of VNU Business Publications in Italy. During this period, Lampe initiated the launch of several new magazines and anthologies, aimed at both consumers and professional users.
