Digital Communities for Social Change

We want to contribute to a world where young people in restrictive settings confidently claim their rights, assume their place in society, and shape a better future.

what we do

RNW Media is a centre of expertise that builds digital communities for social change. We use online media to engage young people on sensitive and often-taboo subjects – from pleasurable sex to civic participation. By facilitating their access to information and amplifying their voices, young people can contribute actively to making their societies more inclusive.

Our two thematic programmes, Love Matters and Citizens’ Voice, are active in different countries in the MENA region, Africa and Asia.
