Petraeus to testify on Benghazi attack Friday: committee

Former CIA director David Petraeus will testify early Friday before the House intelligence committee on the deadly attack on the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya, the panel announced.

Petraeus, who stepped down last week over revelations about an extramarital affair, "will testify before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence" at 7:30 am Friday, in a closed-door hearing, the committee said.
